Health Care Analysis
To determine the health care needs of Ohioans in 22 counties, The Ohio State University AHEC program is upgrading its environmental analysis project. The computer-based program contains health care information, which impacts over 2 million Ohioans served by The Ohio State University and Ohio University AHEC programs in Region V.
Through the project, areas of the state can be identified where health care programs, services and/or professionals may be needed, as well as where services and professionals are adequately serving the needs of the residents. Information will be available that will assist in the educational needs of health care professionals in the region.
Once a problem area is identified, the AHEC programs work together to provide services and professionals for the communities.
