Convenient Continuing Education
Throughout rural southwestern Ohio, nurses get the latest information and techniques on everything from HIV/AIDS to dementia care for older adults during workshops and programs held in church fellowship halls, community colleges, hospitals and life squad buildings.
For the past 12 years, the HEALTH-UC/University of Cincinnati has been an Ohio Nurse Association-approved provider of continuing nurse education (CNE). CNE programs are offered in various rural communities so nurses have convenient access to educational programs.
HEALTH-UC also offers locally accessible educational programs approved for other health care providers such as physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, counselors and nursing home administrators.
