Healthy Lending Library
Sharing information about teen pregnancy, cancer, alcohol and drugs and a variety of other health care topics is the focus of the Health Education Resources Library at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. The library is filled with teaching materials ranging from brochures and displays to dolls and everything in between that can be used to promote and illustrate better health.
Library materials are borrowed by communities, health care professionals and hospitals and used at health fairs, in schools and at festivals. The library constantly expands to keep current on health care issues. By centralizing the material in the library, communities borrow the information without having to purchase it.
